Specifications and Schemas
This documentation is mainly based on the OpenTravel Alliance (OTA) specification. Always refer to the official schema documentation for complete details and the latest updates. For complete specification details, refer to the OpenTravel Alliance documentation at: https://www.opentravel.org/OTA
The www.opentravel.org website is extremely helpful for your integration with our systems. Every year an “A” and “B” update of the specifications are provided. We do not always follow immediately to keep our interface stable, but we sometimes are ahead of the next implementation, when we propose functionality as an OTA member. We recommend:- Download of the latest .xsd’s and installation of a graphical viewing tool like XML spy
- Use of the Model Viewer provided by PilotFish, available under specifications.
- Become a registered user to use the forum – most of your questions will be listed there!
Tools
These are some useful recommended tools to understand and develop our API:- XML Spy
- PilotFish Model Viewer
- OTA Forum
Our Schemas
We recommend to use our schemas only once to generate classes to be implemented and clean obsolete messages, elements and attributes. Automatic download of our WSDL and automatic (re)generation of classes in a productive environment is not to be implemented.EDF
